Trampoline Parks are springing up everywhere at the moment, and seem to be the latest way for kids to spend their leisure time. We were invited to the official opening of Jumpnation trampoline park in our home town of Runcorn, and the kids were excited to try out this brand new park.

Jump Nation

Runcorn is the 3rd park to open under the Jumpnation brand, with their first park opening over 2 years ago in Manchester. They were one of the first to open in the UK, and the brand is going from strength to strength. During the official opening I got the chance to meet Matthew and Michelle, a couple that you instantly warm to. They first had a vision of opening a trampoline park after watching the TV show Super Nanny US. A park was featured on the show and it looked a fantastic way for kids, and adults, to burn off energy. They soon realised there was a gap in the market in the UK, and in 2014 their vision became a reality when Jumpnation Manchester opened.

Owners of Jumpnation

As with all trampoline parks safety is paramount, and you will need to complete a waiver form before you or the kids can jump. Next up is a safety talk and then you are free to bounce away to your hearts content, not before taking a sock selfie though.

Jumpnation is huge and is literally filled from wall to wall with trampolines. And not just trampolines as you can try your hand at the Dunk Nation basketball, the bubble jump and the Dodgeball court. If you have little ones there is a dedicated area for children under 6.

This place is a kids dream, and thankfully there is a large viewing area upstairs where you can keep on eye on them. Of course you can pay and go and bounce with them, but I opted for a coffee and used the free wifi instead. I have done my fair share of following them around soft play areas, and with plenty of staff watching I knew they were safe and having fun.

Jumpnation is currently open from 10am till 7pm (last admission 6pm) and you can book your 1 hour slot online. The first time you visit you will need to buy the rubber gripped non-slip socks at £1.50 per pair.

We had a great time at Jumpnation and I am sure it will be very popular in our home town. Thank you for inviting us.

4 Thoughts on “Jumpnation bounces into Runcorn

  1. I’m definitely giving this a go. Not sure I’d last longer than five minutes but it looks like so much fun.
