Is it too early to start thinking about your summer holiday wardrobe ? As Yesterday was filled with beautiful sunshine, it got me thinking about our upcoming holiday. We may still have over 140 days to go until we head to beautiful Mexico, but it’s never too early to start planning holiday wear.

JD Williams

I last visited Mexico 17 years ago for our honeymoon, and over the years my holiday style has definitely changed. I used to have the confidence to wear shorts on holiday, but now I prefer to cover up my legs with beach dresses for the day, and long maxi dresses for the evening.

As we are visiting Cancun in August, temperatures will be well into the thirties, so it’s really important that my holiday wardrobe is going to keep me as cool as possible. And for the evening I want some pretty maxi dresses that will look stylish, whilst being comfortable too. JD Williams has been giving me some inspiration for my holiday wardrobe, and being plus size it’s great to see the huge choice they have on their website.

To make it even easier, JD Williams has a fantastic holiday section which includes swimwear, holiday essentials such as cameras and headphones, suitcases, and of course all the holiday wear you are going to need. Now I have started getting inspiration for my holiday wardrobe, I just need the next 140 days to pass by quickly, so I can be on that Mexican beach sipping a cocktail.

  1. Oh I love holiday clothes shopping! We’re off to France this year – it’s going to be around 25 degrees which isn’t as hot as Mexico but still a good excuse for new bits and bobs. Love the last dress in your selection x

It’s always fun to go holiday shopping isn’t it, and I didn’t realise JD Williams had such a great choice for plus size ladies. The South of France sounds perfect, as I keep worrying that Mexico will be too hot for the redheads in the family. Oh well, I will be at the swim up bar for the week I think x
