Last month I wrote about the new decking my wonderful stepdad had fitted in our garden. Our decking was looking bare, as I just couldn’t decide what to put on it. So when gardens2you got in contact and offered to send me some garden ornaments, I jumped at the chance.

www.gardens2you.co.uk offer a vast choice of garden ornaments. Here you will find everything from lighting, to wall art for your garden. I was sent a garden gnome and a gorgeous mosaic lizard. The items came by courier, and I was impressed that I was given a 1 hour slot for delivery. This meant no hanging around the house all day waiting for the courier to turn up. The items were both very well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition from the company.

I loved the bright colours on the mosaic lizard. It was well made and sturdy, and I am sure it would withstand all elements of our great British weather. There is a hook on the back of the lizard for hanging up on walls, fences or in the trees. The children opted to hang it in the trees. We already had a nail that we hung it too, but I need to enlist the DIY skills of my stepdad again and secure it properly.

The gnome is a large ornament, and I really didn’t expect it to be as big as it was. We used to have a few gnomes in the garden when the children were little, but over time they have met their maker with balls being kicked around. Thankfully this gnome seems much sturdier, and like the lizard is well made. He looks quite chilled sat on the decking, amongst the Autumn leaves. That reminds me, I really must go and brush up the leaves from the garden.
