During our 4 night stay at Sani Dunes we wanted to experience as much of the Sani resort as we could. At Sani you can choose to be on the go from early morning through to late evening, or simply relax around Greece’s largest pool. Thankfully we struck a happy medium where we had plenty of pool relaxation, whilst still experiencing the amazing dining and activities on offer at Sani Dunes.

The Sani and Volvo Experience

Now this is an activity not to be missed, a 2 hour tour around the Kassandra Peninsula in a chauffer driven Volvo. Our driver stopped at 3 different locations, each unique with breathtaking views and picture opportunities.… Continue reading

Another 2 weeks has passed since I last joined in with Little Loves, and what a fortnight. Last week we were in Greece, and this week has been a blur of high school transition days, work, family life, school reports, SATS results (both amazing) and orthodontic appointments for the teen. I am ready to flop on the sofa this evening with a bottle of wine and Gilmore Girls.

I am loving Big Little Lies (thanks to all the Little Loves people that have mentioned it in their posts recently). I am about half way through and it has gripped me from the first page.… Continue reading

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to experience Sani Dunes, the latest luxury hotel to be built at the Sani Resort in Greece. Located in beautiful Halkidiki on mainland Greece, the resort is around 50 minutes from Thessaloniki airport.

The impeccable service that Sani is renowned for starts at the airport. Being greeted with a bottle of water and led to an air conditioned car was certainly welcome in the heat. And forget standing in a large queue to check in. At Sani Dunes you are welcomed with a cold towel, a refreshing spray of cold mist to your face, and of course a welcome drink.… Continue reading

Well what a week that was. There was only one thing we were all talking about, and of course that was the heat. It has been far too hot to cook, and we have had a few meals out this week which has been lovely. You can’t beat family time, nice food and lots of chatter and laughing.

I have had a complete break from blogging over the past fortnight, and whilst it has been nice to switch off, I am now itching to get back. If you follow me on instagram you may have noticed we have been in Greece. We returned to Ikos Olivia which is in Halkidiki, the most amazing 5* resort. We were treated like family when we arrived at the hotel, and we spent the week relaxing, eating and sampling the huge cocktail menu they have. The lovely Sarah from Extraordinary Chaos is there at the moment, and I am gutted our holidays did not cross over.… Continue reading

When TripAdvisor announced it’s 2016 Travellers’ Choice Awards, it came as no surprise to me that Ikos Olivia was voted the BEST All Inclusive hotel in Europe, AND came 2nd in the world.  Reading the TripAdvisor reviews, it quickly becomes apparent that the Ikos brand offers much more than All Inclusive. They call it ‘infinite lifestyle’ and last April we travelled to Halkidiki to immerse ourselves in the Ikos Olivia bubble, a luxurious bubble of course.

When we returned I wrote about how we had found the perfect holiday at Ikos Olivia. A holiday so perfect that we get to do it all again in less than 2 weeks.… Continue reading
