Australia is one of the many places we would love to visit as a family, if we ever won the lottery. But seeing as thought we don’t do the lottery, I will just have to dream of what we would do on an Australian adventure, starting with the 5 attractions we would visit in Sydney with the kids.
Wet ‘n’ Wild
No holiday is complete without a trip to a water park, and Wet ‘n’ Wild in Sydney offers over 40 slides and attractions. Teenagers will have fun racing against their friends, parents or even strangers in the 360 Rush, then onto the Riptide where 20,000 litres of water pump through the ride per minute, ensuring that you experience high speed thrills on this water ride. Or take on the darkness on T5, where you experience 180 meters of thrills, spills and fun in the dark.
Madame Tussauds
Having visited Madame Tussauds in London and Blackpool, a trip to their Sydney attraction would be a must. Teens will love taking selfies with Taylor Swift, Adele, Lady Gaga, and of course Kylie Minogue. The attraction will take you back through time to Australian history, then you will get to rub shoulders with World Leaders including our very own Queen of England. And then you will pass through Sporting Legends, Fashion, Music, Movie Stars, and the new attractions of Marvel Super Heroes and the Justice League.
The Sydney Opera House
No trip to Sydney would be complete without a visit to the world famous Opera House. It might not be the teens first choice of attractions to visit, but once inside the iconic building there really is something for everyone. The Opera House runs daily tours where you will discover the history of the building. The Opera House is open 365 days a year, and is free to enter the building. And I am sure the teens will be sharing those all important selfies with them positioned infront of the breathtaking building.
Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge
If you are visiting Sydney before the 30th September 2018 and have adventurous teens, then the Bridge Climb at Sydney Harbour Bridge is a must. They have climbs running from dawn to dusk, and of course when you reach the summit you will be treated to spectacular 360 degree views of the city.
Indoor Skydiving at iFly
An exhilarating experience, teenagers will love the feeling of being able to fly, and the surge of adrenaline it gives you. Indoor Skydiving can be quite expensive, but you can often find great offers on things to do in Sydney at Groupon.
