5 under £5

I had all good intentions of joining in with this fantastic linky from the lovely Julia at Rainbeaubelle last month, but time seemed to just run away. The idea behind it is you choose 5 things that you have purchased for £5 and under. Obviously not boring stuff like washing liquid and tins of beans, but lovely things that have made you smile. So here are my five items under £5.

5 things under £5

I love the framed print that I got from Ellie Bean Prints for just £5 in the sale. I have put it on our new picture shelf in the playroom, and yes it applies to daughter with the ‘no whining’.

I bought the cup whilst on a recent trip to Ikea. I love the floral pattern and it was a bargain at £2. And you can never have too many cups can you.

My Capture Life canvas was from Primark. I must admit I don’t get chance to visit Primark often, but whilst we were in Chester recently we popped in. I was gobsmacked when I saw the price was only £2. I had to have it for our new playroom.

And whilst I was in Primark I couldn’t walk past the candles without popping some in my basket. I love the design on the tin, and the candle smells divine. Another bargain at £2.

And lastly the Monster High doll was purchased from our local Tesco. Daughter is a huge fan of anything Monster High, so when I saw the price of £2, down from £15 it was quickly in the trolley. It has been put in my present cupboard, and maybe the Easter Bunny will take it.

I am really pleased with my 5 under £5, and they have certainly put a smile on my face.
