As part of my ambassador role for The Crocky Trail in Chester, I was invited to their Halloween event, The Crocky Horror Show. Anything with the word ‘Horror’ in it would usually have me running for the hills. But having a teen and 9 year old, they were excited to be heading somewhere that could potentially scare their mum. We decided to visit on the Wednesday evening. The Crocky Horror Show is on from the 20th October and ends on the 31st October. If you visit on the 30th or 31st, you get the added bonus of a firework display.

The Crocky Trail in Chester
On Sunday we made our very first visit to The Crocky Trail, which is in Waverton in Chester. Over the years I have heard many good things about it, and we were really looking forward to trying it out for ourselves. As I knew there would be mud involved, I packed a change of clothes and some towels, along with a bin bag to put the muddy clothes in.
We parked easily and the children couldn’t wait to get out of the car and head to the activities on offer. Now with having a nearly teen boy and a 9 year old girl, I really struggle to find days out that they both enjoy.… Continue reading
