I love starting the year by looking back at our travels from the previous year, and hopefully this will give you some holiday ideas 2019. I always knew that 2018 would be the year we travelled less, mainly down to GCSEs which happened in May and June. This meant that we swopped our usual holiday in April, as the teen was revising over the Easter holidays, to going away over the Summer.
Considering we were not meant to travel much during 2018, we still managed a total of 13 trips between us. We usually spend between £3500 and £4000 on our annual holidays and trips away, but last year we spent just over £5300 in total, which is down to booking our main holiday during the peak time of Summer.… Continue reading
I love writing this post which gives me the chance to look back at our travels for the past year. In 2017 we managed 14 trips of 1 night or over. 2 of the trips have just been myself and the husband, 1 has been a girlie night away, 9 trips with the family, and the kids have enjoyed 2 school trips.

A gaming convention wouldn’t be complete without Minecraft would it. Head over to the Minecraft zone where you will find four huge sets up for you to play. There will also be a Hunger Games map where you can fight it out to survive the harsh landscape of traps, and of course other players.… Continue reading

However, I opted to stay at a Premier Inn at The Trafford Centre, as we were heading there the following day.
So on Sunday afternoon after kissing the kids goodbye, we headed off around 1.30pm ready for our 2pm check in time. We quickly unpacked and we were soon heading into the city centre.… Continue reading
