Regular readers will know how much we love Ikos Olivia, having holidayed there in 2016 and 2017. But from the 3rd May the Ikos family is growing, with the addition of Ikos Dassia located on the beautiful island of Corfu.
We visited Corfu back in 2014, when our friends got married in Corfu town. A stunning Greek island that offers beautiful beaches, amazing Greek hospitality, and of course an abundance of Greek gastronomy. And of course Ikos Dassia will be offering this, and much more for the discerning traveller.
Ikos Dassia is larger than its sister hotels of Oceania and Olivia, offering 411 rooms which are divided between 2 hotel buildings, villas and suites. We stayed in an amazing private pool suite at Olivia back in 2016, with ample room for 2 adults and 2 older children. Private pool rooms will also be offered at Dassia, as well as beach front suites, family accommodation, and double rooms.
There are countless things we love about holidaying with Ikos, one being the amazing food on offer. Dassia will have an impressive six a la carte restaurants, their buffet restaurant Flavors, as well as offering the dine out experience, which gives you the chance to sample the local Greek hospitality at nearby restaurants. All part of the all inclusive experience.
During our past visits to Olivia we have loved dining at Ouzo, Fresco, Anaya and Provence, and all 4 restaurants will also be at Ikos Dassia, as well as Kerkyra and Ergon Deli. One thing is for sure, you will never go hungry at Ikos Dassia, as they also offer 24 hour room service.
As we holiday with teenagers, we are always on the look out for activities that will suit them, as well as that all important wifi. Dassia offers a crèche, kids club, a teens club during the high season, plus a football academy. Katie loved going to the kids clubs at Olivia, and Morgan loved to play table tennis, going out for a bike ride with his dad, or hiring a pedalo.
The great thing about Ikos Dassia is the location. Being 20 minutes from the airport means you can be sipping that all important first cocktail in no time at all.
Ikos Dassia officially opened on the 3rd May, and whilst my heart lies with Olivia, I am sure I can give a little piece of it to Dassia one day. Best of luck to all the staff on their first season.

Ikos hotels are out of this world Angela. Hopefully we will get to visit the new hotel one day as it looks amazing x
Oh I will have to check this hotel out as we are looking for Greece for our family honeymoon next summer. We were meant to be going to Mexico but after our recent holiday to Majorca I don’t think I could cope on a long-haul flight with my children being so small xx
Ikos is amazing and would be perfect for a honeymoon if you wanted a short flight from the UK. Any questions just ask away x
