Our weekends are so precious. We get all of this wonderful time together, yet it’s so easy to squander it away and then find yourself back at Monday morning again. So let’s take a look at what you can do to make the most of your weekends.
Wake up early
The first part of this is so important, it can really determine the outcome of your weekend. If you’re laying in bed wasting precious time, it might take you longer to get up and get going. Then you may feel as if there’s no point in doing anything at all. So get up early and start to seize the day. My husband is really good at doing this, as he gets up every Saturday morning to go to our local Parkrun.
Plan in advance
Something that can help you with the above, and just to make sure that you do have things to do, is to plan it all in advance. If you leave things to the day, you may spend more time trying to decide what to do, and this can often lead to stress and put you off doing anything at all.
Create a list
One of the things that always seems to be a stumbling block is not knowing what to do, or not having any ideas on the spot. To combat this, try creating a list, as there is always things that you can do. From going to the park, to DIY jobs around the house, or how about a weekend trip to the theatre. You could take a look at the infographic below to see what musical shows you want to see, and get adding it to your list. Push your boundaries at the weekend.

Good tips for the weekend. I think it’s hard sometimes to get up early, but seeing musicals sounds like a good plan xx
Funnily enough Katie went to see a musical with school yesterday and I really wanted to go and watch it too. Though not with a group of high school kids lol x
