Is Disney World really the happiest place on earth? Is it truly a great spot for everyone regardless of age? Can anyone enjoy a trip to this magical land? Before you decide to book a trip to Disney World, these are all questions worth considering. The good news is that the answer is yes. Disney is suitable for all ages, it is incredibly magical and you can be very happy here. However, that’s only going to be the case if you make the right decisions. Don’t worry, we’re going to walk you through some of these right now, so you can make the most of your Disney World holiday in 2020 or 2021.

Disney becoming a disaster

Book early

This is always advised for a few reasons. First, it’s a great way to save on costs because Disney often provides deals for the early birds, and that includes things like free dining if you stay at one of their hotels. We’ll get back to their hotels a little further down. You can also make sure that you get the flights you want, and ensure that you gain access to lots of opportunities that are going to be very valuable to you.

Of course, when you book early you need to make sure that you know when you want to go. So, when’s the best time to travel to Disney? Well, September is hurricane season so you want to avoid this if you can. Spring, Easter and the middle of summer mean that the parks are packed, as does Christmas. That leaves you with October which is an awesome time to go or early in the year. However, arguably, if you’re okay with hot weather and you’re ready for the queues, July is best. This is when all the rides are open and the crowds haven’t yet reached their peak. Christmas can be magical, just don’t expect to get as much done as you would at other times. Be aware that 2021 will probably see huge crowds so you need to be prepared for this if you’re booking then. It is after all the 50th Anniversary.

Book through Disney

Forget about the package holiday suppliers and the deals you see online. Disney makes it in your best interest to book everything through them in an all-inclusive package. This includes choosing one of their hotels. Staying in a Disney hotel provides you with extra magic hours which means you’ll be able to go into the parks when the crowds are lower. It also ensures that you have easy dining options. This ultimately means that you won’t have to worry about squeezing food into a stretched budget. It’s really easy to dine when all you need to do is swipe a magic band. You also get a set amount of credits each day, and this can buy you more than enough food even on the cheapest plan.

Book through Disney and they’ll even take you too and from the airport free of charge. Remember, Disney World has a full transportation system to get around the parks. So, if you’re not planning on hitting Universal while you’re here or other attractions, you won’t require a hire car.

Pack well

You do need to make sure that you are packing everything you need for your Disney trip. There are lots of essentials you need including comfy shoes. It’s impossible to overstate how much walking you’re going to do through the parks. Make sure that you are not going to end up with blisters. This is where something like a Footasylum discount code can come in handy, and can help you get every member of your family a great pair of shoes. Ear protectors are also useful if you want to avoid the dreaded ear infection when swimming.

Remember Fast Passes

Finally, assuming you do book through Disney as we suggested, fast passes become available sixty days before you’re scheduled to arrive which is awesome. It means that you can head to the parks and not worry about queues for three rides each day. That might not sound like a lot but you can add more rides once you have used up the first three. That’s why it’s worth booking them early on in the day because it gives you more opportunities to make the most of this cool option. Remember, not everyone will be able to access the fast pass plus system that you’ll be able to use when you stay in a Disney hotel.
